Electro-pneumatic measurement is one of the non-contact measuring methods. This allows you to measure components without damage and with the lowest error rate. The measuring medium is oil-free compressed air.
Compressed air flows through measuring nozzles. Depending on the distance of the component to be tested, a dynamic pressure is created in the supply line depending on the distance.
This dynamic pressure is measured by a pressure measuring element. At the same time, the air volume passing through is measured.
These measurement results are converted into understandable measured values in the column and displayed on digital and LED displays.
With electro-pneumatic measuring methods, internal contours, external contours, flatness and roundness can be measured with a measurable tolerance range from 0.2mm (accuracy 0.002mm) to 0.01mm (accuracy 0.0001mm).
The air column has been continuously developed to combine the advantages of pneumatic measurement technology with those of microchip-controlled statistical output.
The compatibility to most pneumatic measuring devices (such as pneun. throat gauges or pneun. measuring rings or mandrels) of other manufacturers is given in most cases.
All functions of the measuring column are accessible via the integrated menu and the easy-to-use keypad.
The individual functions (such as calibration, resolution of the measuring display or resolution of the measuring range) are actively queried via the menu.
Of course, the measuring column can also be converted from mm to inch.
A RS232 and a RS485 interface serve as data output. Thus data can be passed on and processed quickly.
